Village History Museum of Tendo Oda (Yamagata Higashi-Murayama County Former Office)

The museum building is designated by Yamagata Prefecture as a Tangible Cultural Property as a western-style structure dating from the Meiji Period. Exhibits are centered mainly on materials related to the Tendo-Oda Domain and materials dating from around the time of the Meiji Restoration. The museum also stages various special exhibitions, such as an exhibition of Hina-ningyo dolls from the Kansai region.
