Yamagata Marugoto-kan BENI NO KURA

山形まるごと館 紅の蔵

This facility was originally the warehouse and home of the Marutani-Hasegawa safflower merchant family.
This integrated tourism complex comprises five facilities. In addition to a soba shop serving seasonal local Yamagata cuisine passed down through generations and exquisitely delicious handmade soba noodles, as well as a restaurant providing a menu that consciously incorporates the philosophy of “local production for local consumption”, serving French-based cuisine made with Yamagata produce, the complex also includes a tourist information center, souvenir shop selling specialty Yamagata products, and a farmers’ market selling freshly picked agricultural produce grown with meticulous care by local producers.
