This long-established traditional Japanese sweets shop is an official supplier to Yama-dera Risshaku-ji temple. Their famous handmade morokoshi sweets comprise a mixture of azuki bean powder and sugar, which is then shaped using wooden molds. The shop’s manju, kintsuba, and kurumi-yubeshi are also popular traditional sweets. The shop also sells cold arrowroot ice cream made from arrowroot powder, so be sure to try some after your visit to Yama-dera Temple.
